Some creatures crawling around my house and garden (in the Netherlands)

This is a big 'house spider' (probably a Tegenaria parietina or a Tegenaria duellica (1), (2)).
It ran into my house on a early Autumn morning. Just what I needed to play with my macro lens!
This beauty regained it's freedom after the photo session.

They are all over my house! And they make quite a mess ...
OK, This Garden Spider (Araneus diadematus) lives in my garden, rather than in my house.
Note that it has a tiny claw at the end of each leg, through which it hangs on to it's web.
